VG10 Feather Pattern Damascus Nakiri Knife Blank

Made from folded VG10 this Damascus knife is elegant and unusual. The steel is folded to show a delicate feather on the blade. Nakiri Knives are a Japanese style kitchen knife that looks like a cleaver, but is used  for delicate and precise to perfectly making julienne veggies, slicing, dicing, mincing or chopping.  It is the ideal veggie knife. Due to its straight blade it is best suited to up and down cuts nit rocking cuts like a chef knife. Furthermore, due to the thin straight edge blade it is NOT designed to be used as a cleaver (butchering meat) .
