The true measure of a man is not where he stands in times of triumph but rather where he stands in moments of great despair. Mike Bauman was a warrior for all times. His courage allowed him to stare stage 4 cancer in the face and resist its relentless determination to take his soul and will, while realizing that one day it may very well take his body.
