Belly Dancing for BEGINNERS – The BALANCE

In this new oneHOWTO video, we are continuing our belly dancing for beginners tutorials with the balance. This is a move where we move the hips from side to side, but keep our chest straight and we don’t flick the hips as we do with other belly dancing moves. Our belly dancing teacher Guillermo Nassim shows us how to maintain our posture during the balance so we don’t cause any injury. We also need to know which muscles to work and how to incorporate different parts of our body into this basic movement. Once we master the balance in belly dancing, we can add lots of arm movement to create a mesmerizing routine as well as changing the hips movements to create interesting variations.
