If you wish to grow you Abs and develop a nice looking mid section, you MUST train them directly. I can not stress this enough: no matter how much you can dead lift, squat or bench press, your abs will simply never pop if you can’t perform a strict, controlled leg raise. So, if you’re after a nice set of abs, please understand that training them directly is an absolute essential piece to the puzzle. However, when it’s all said and done, if you’re not incorporating the necessary nutritional protocols, then they will simply never shine through.
Control is also crucial when training your Abs. Understand that if you can’t see you Abs, it’s either cause your body fat is too high or your Abs simply aren’t developed enough for them to shine through. And sure you could pin this to ‘genetics’, but that would most be a bunch of BS. The truth is that abs are very easy to neglect… even though it’s one of the most desired and aesthetically pleasing muscle groups. There’s simply no way around it – and if you’re wanting to develop solid six pack, you’ll want to make sure you’re building in the gym & revealing them in kitchen.
